The Role: Venture Architect Manager

Sanabil Studio is seeking a Venture Architect Manager to lead the development of new ventures from idea to execution. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, requires over 10 years of experience. The manager will operate as a founding business leader within a venture, overseeing cross-functional teams, strategic direction, and venture performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of new ventures, from opportunity identification and validation through prototype launch, go-to-market execution, and early-stage scaling.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-potential venture opportunities aligned with the studio’s strategic priorities, market trends, and investment thesis.
• Lead customer discovery, market research, competitive analysis, and validation efforts to assess problem-solution fit and commercial viability.
• Develop venture strategies, business models, monetization approaches, operating plans, and scalable go-to-market strategies.
• Partner with Product, Technology, Growth, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to drive venture execution and address operational challenges.
• Define and track venture KPIs, growth metrics, unit economics, and experimentation outcomes to support data-driven decision-making.
• Prepare investment materials, business cases, strategic recommendations, and executive-level updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage venture timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and execution plans across multiple parallel initiatives.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships, pilot programs, and commercial collaborations to accelerate venture growth and market access.
• Mentor and support Venture Architects and cross-functional venture teams, fostering an environment focused on ownership and execution.
• Make data-driven recommendations to pivot, accelerate, pause, or sunset ventures based on market signals, customer insights, and performance outcomes.

Work Environment

Venture teams at Sanabil Studio are designed to be small and independent, with individuals taking full ownership of their workstreams. The role offers exposure to multiple ventures at different stages, with teams and partners spanning the Middle East, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Venture cycles typically range from 3 to 10 months, emphasizing rapid learning and execution.
