About the Role: VP of Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE)

Mozn is seeking a Vice President of Forward Deployed Engineering to establish and lead a team responsible for deploying Mozn's AI solutions into client production environments. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, and involves working directly with government and enterprise clients across Saudi Arabia, from initial problem definition through to daily system operation. The position requires 8-12 years of relevant experience and focuses on leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve delivery outcomes and translate field learnings into repeatable processes and platform enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and scale a multidisciplinary forward-deployed organization encompassing software engineering, data science, and AI.
• Recruit, develop, and retain engineers, data scientists, and technical leaders, setting clear expectations and career paths.
• Define the operating model for team staffing, work prioritization, and delivery measurement.
• Foster a culture of ownership, technical excellence, and accountability for client outcomes.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of AI solutions across engagements, from problem framing to production deployment and adoption.
• Ensure solutions are deployed and utilized, defining and tracking success metrics with clients.
• Lead escalations, mitigate delivery risks, and make trade-offs regarding scope, quality, and timelines.
• Partner with Sales and Presales to shape engagements and ensure smooth transitions from presales to delivery.
• Act as a technical advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating business priorities into AI solutions.
• Navigate client procurement, security, data-governance, and approval processes.
• Represent Mozn's delivery capabilities in executive discussions and steering committees.
• Set technical standards for architecture, integration, security, and quality across various deployment environments.
• Review architectures and solution designs, providing technical guidance on complex problems.
• Ensure deployed AI systems are secure, reliable, monitored, and maintainable post-go-live.
• Translate field experience into repeatable deployment playbooks and reusable components.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to integrate client needs into the Mozn AI Platform roadmap.
• Track delivery performance and report regularly to senior leadership on outcomes, risks, and capacity.
