We are seeking an experienced Account and Distribution Management Team Leader to join our full-time team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Role Overview
The Account and Distribution Management Team Leader will lead team operations and achieve sales targets by developing existing accounts and acquiring new local and international distribution channels. This role is critical for enhancing the sales and profitability of publications. The successful candidate will manage key accounts and commercial partners, develop local and international distribution networks, and oversee participation in exhibitions. Furthermore, the role involves analyzing the performance of each publication and preparing periodic reports to inform strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management and Sales Achievement:
- Prepare and implement monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans, working towards approved targets.
- Manage key accounts, including distributors, bookstores, e-platforms, and corporate partners.
- Develop growth plans for existing accounts and identify suitable business opportunities for each.
- Build sustainable business relationships with clients and partners, following up on offers, negotiations, and agreements until opportunities are closed.
- Monitor account performance and address reasons for sales decline or account inactivity.
- Follow up on collections and outstanding amounts in coordination with the finance department.
- Sales and Distribution Point Development:
- Attract and activate new local and international sales and distribution channels, identifying priority markets and cities based on Nasher's product lines.
- Monitor the performance of distributors and sales points regarding supplied, sold, returned quantities, and inventory, developing plans to improve sales and turnover rates.
- Develop sales growth initiatives, such as bulk sales, and reactivate inactive accounts.
- Pricing and Commercial Analysis:
- Prepare retail, wholesale, distribution, and export pricing proposals in coordination with the finance department.
- Analyze the cost and profitability of each publication, calculating profit margins, break-even points, and the impact of discounts and commissions.
- Review prices, sales, and distribution terms, comparing them with market standards, and provide recommendations that balance sales growth and profitability.
- Reporting and Performance Analysis:
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for account, distribution, and sales operations.
- Develop detailed reports for each publication, including distributed, sold, and returned quantities, remaining inventory, sales locations (cities, countries, sales points), sales value, turnover rate, average selling price, publication cost, and profit margin.
- Generate performance reports for accounts, distributors, and sales points.
- Analyze sales by product line, publication, city, country, channel, and time period.
- Update and monitor the sales pipeline.
- Prepare sales forecasts and analyze deviations between targeted and actual results.
- Develop and monitor sales dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
- Analyze reasons for sales increases or decreases and propose recommendations and corrective actions.
- Prepare executive summaries for management, outlining results, challenges, and required decisions.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead the team and directly supervise local and international participations.
- Distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks and targets, monitoring achievement levels.
- Review exhibition and participation plans, linking each participation to clear sales, distribution, and commercial targets.
- Monitor inventory readiness, preparations, and offers before each participation.
- Measure the results of each participation in terms of sales, costs, clients, and resulting opportunities.
- Follow up on opportunities and accounts generated from participations after their conclusion.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven work experience of 4 to 6 years in account management, sales, business development, or distribution.
- Experience in managing key accounts, sales channels, and distributors.
- Practical knowledge of pricing, cost analysis, profit margins, and break-even points.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in retail, distribution, or e-commerce.
- Experience in developing local or international distribution networks.
- A proven track record in opening new accounts, channels, and sales points.
- Experience in improving turnover rates and profitability.
- Practical experience in creating sales dashboards and reports using Power BI.

- Aptitude for setting and monitoring performance indicators for the team and for account and distribution management operations.
- Ability to establish metrics to measure the impact of sales, revenue growth, channel efficiency, turnover rate, and profitability.
- Proficiency in using Excel and Power BI for data analysis and dashboard creation.
- Ability to work and adapt within a startup and fast-growing company environment.
- Effective communication with local and international clients and partners.
