About Air Products and the Role

Air Products is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to join their team in Duba, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in IT infrastructure. Core Responsibilities

• Ensure proper cable management, labelling, and compliance with industry and Air Products DT/IT standards.
• Supervise the installation, termination, and testing of structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a, fiber optics) for data, voice, and CCTV systems.
• Monitor fiber optic cable OTDR, fluke testing, and documentation.
• Layout IT Room cabinets, mount equipment, and manage cables with labelling and documentation.
• Inspect and verify the installation of communication cables to meet project requirements.
• Manage IT contractors, vendors, and other external parties, coordinating for DT Infrastructure and support services.
• Troubleshoot and repair damaged or faulty cabling, connectors, and network drops.
• Assist the DT Project team with the installation and configuration of DMZ.
• Set up and manage temporary IT infrastructure, including network cabling, wireless access points, and VPN connections.
• Provide local coordination for issue remediation and deployments with remote DIS teams, primarily for network and wireless services.
• Provide local IT support and maintain IT Standards, including safety for IT rooms within the incumbent's responsibility.
• Provide information technology support for industrial control systems at the site.
• Perform network hardware upgrades and installations for Maintain Viability work where Network Technical Support would not be performing this role.

Safety and Compliance

• Perform site activities in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Receive and execute assigned tasks as per Safety Work Permit requirements.
• Develop and approve Job Safety Analysis/Risk Assessment for assigned tasks.
• Prepare, review, and maintain documentation for inspection test reports (ITR) and upload to Aconex and OT.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven work experience in desktop support or other IT infrastructure areas.
• Technically knowledgeable with a drive to learn new technologies.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes used by Air Products (Incident, Change, Problem, etc.).
• Ability to work with strategic vendors, outside support/service providers, and third-party vendors.
• Ability to provide technical support for Microwave and/or Tetra tower installation and device management in collaboration with external vendors.

Work Environment and Expectations

This is a full-time position based in Duba, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. The role requires working effectively in a remote team environment and may necessitate working outside of normal business hours and weekends to provide technical support when required.
