About the Role

Reza Investment Company is seeking a Laundry Application Expert to join our team in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing technical expertise and hands-on application support across commercial and industrial laundry operations. The primary objective is to ensure effective washing performance, chemical efficiency, optimal equipment function, and consistent quality standards across all processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Laundry Application Expert will be responsible for a range of technical and operational duties, including:

• Programming, monitoring, and optimising tunnel washers and washer extractors to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Developing and adjusting wash programmes based on laundry classification, fabric type, and customer requirements.
• Selecting, dosing, and applying appropriate laundry chemicals to ensure effective cleaning and fabric care.
• Performing application titration within wash cycles to verify chemical concentrations and dosing performance.
• Conducting water analysis for laundry operations and supporting adjustments to wash programmes and chemical applications.
• Monitoring and analysing wash cycles to recommend improvements in productivity, wash quality, and resource consumption (water, energy, chemicals).
• Conducting periodic quality checks on wash quality, stain removal, garment care, and rewash performance, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions.
• Monitoring and reporting on laundry process KPIs, including productivity, turnaround time, rewash rates, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinating with Engineering teams to address equipment malfunctions or technical conditions affecting wash processes.
• Training laundry staff on wash programmes, chemical handling, SOPs, and equipment operation.
• Providing technical support to customers, understanding their requirements, and recommending solutions to improve wash quality and productivity.
• Conducting customer site visits to assess laundry processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Preparing technical and KPI reports covering process performance, quality results, and recommended improvements.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Textile Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant certifications in industrial laundry, chemical applications, textile care, water treatment, or laundry technology are advantageous.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in industrial/commercial laundry operations, laundry applications, chemical applications, process optimisation, or technical customer support.
• Hands-on experience with tunnel washers and washer extractors.
• Practical knowledge of laundry chemicals, chemical dosing, titration, water analysis, and wash programme development.
• Experience monitoring and improving laundry productivity, wash quality, water consumption, and energy utilisation.
• Understanding of textile and garment care, stain removal, rewash reduction, and laundry quality requirements.
• Experience providing customer-facing technical support and conducting on-site laundry assessments.

Required Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills and competencies:

• Ability to work under general direction and independently perform laundry application activities, including wash programme configuration, titration, water analysis, and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with Laundry Operations, Engineering, Sales, and customers, providing technical guidance and training.
• Capability to manage technical activities involving tunnel washers, washer extractors, laundry chemicals, and various operational requirements.
• Sound practical knowledge of industrial laundry applications, laundry chemistry, process optimisation, and quality control.
• Effective communication skills for technical information and contributions to continuous improvement.
• Ability to train operational employees on laundry processes, chemical handling, SOPs, and equipment operation.

Work Environment and Relationships

This role is primarily field-based, involving regular visits to commercial and industrial laundry facilities, complemented by office-based technical planning and reporting. It is a full-time position requiring flexibility to support customer operations, site assessments, and technical troubleshooting. The role involves hands-on interaction with industrial laundry equipment, chemicals, and dosing systems, demanding strong technical knowledge, practical problem-solving, and adherence to health and safety requirements.

The Laundry Application Expert reports to the Laundry Manager and will collaborate closely with internal teams such as Laundry Operations, Engineering/Technical Services, Sales, Supply Chain, and Warehouse. External interactions will primarily be with laundry customers and their operations teams.
