About the Role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Laundry Supervisor for a full-time position in Tabuk, specifically covering Umluj and Tabuk. This role involves overseeing the efficient operation of laundry services, ensuring adherence to brand standards and guest satisfaction. The Laundry Supervisor will contribute to the vision of Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea, focusing on sustainability, wellness, and unique guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and assist in the training and orientation of new hosts, and conduct regular training for laundry hosts to enhance job performance and ensure compliance with guidelines and standards.
• Demonstrate to laundry hosts how to perform tasks according to service standards.
• Maintain regular communication with other departments to ensure smooth laundry operations.
• Plan and coordinate daily work schedules, including special activities and reports based on occupancy.
• Distribute and supervise daily work schedules, reports, and assignments to laundry staff.
• Supervise and inspect the work of laundry hosts, ensuring high standards of order, hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness across all service areas, providing assistance when necessary.
• Ensure all equipment and machinery are cleaned, maintained in good condition, and stored correctly.
• Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, striving to meet and exceed performance benchmarks.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and address guest feedback.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel operational setting, with proven results.
• Proficiency in advanced MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with various hotel systems, including POS and PMS platforms.
• Good knowledge of laundry operations and linen handling.

Work Environment

This role is based in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, covering locations such as Umluj and Tabuk. The position is full-time within the hospitality sector, specifically for IHG Hotels & Resorts.
