Role Overview

The Purchasing Clerk supports the procurement department's objectives of cost efficiency, quality control, and timely supply. This role involves handling administrative duties, facilitating communication, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure the effective flow of goods and services into the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase requisitions and converting them into purchase orders within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy.
• Tracking order statuses, expediting deliveries as needed, and resolving any delivery or quality issues.
• Collaborating with internal departments to understand and fulfill their specific procurement needs.
• Assisting in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery.
• Maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation for audit purposes.
• Ensuring procurement activities comply with hotel policies, ethical guidelines, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Knowledge or demonstrated interest in procurement and finance.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
• A diligent approach with attention to detail.

Work Environment

This role operates in both outdoor and indoor settings as required by operational needs. The position is based in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
