About the Role

NEOM Green Hydrogen Company is seeking a Risk Manager to lead the development and implementation of Risk and Business Continuity Management (BCM) Frameworks. This full-time position is based in Oxagon, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, and involves providing technical expertise and consolidated reports to NGHC leadership, Committees, and the Board of Directors. The role ensures compliance and communication with the Audit & Finance Committee regarding risk reporting and the fulfillment of Internal Audit findings.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the Risk Manager works closely with the Management Committee to advise and coordinate the implementation of NGHC's Risk and BCM Management Frameworks. This ensures a consistent and robust governance approach across all units. The role also provides assurance that risk management processes and internal control environments are effective and operate as designed, liaising with the Leadership Team, Directors, and Functional Leads.

Enterprise Risk Management

  • Develop and implement the NGHC risk management framework and strategy, communicating expectations and obligations to the Leadership team and managers.
  • Monitor and report on performance to enhance the NGHC risk profile.
  • Provide technical and theoretical leadership, processes, and tools for successful framework implementation.
  • Support the business in detecting potential threats to NGHC's reputation, financial sustainability, operational efficiency, and safety to foster a shared understanding of NGHC's risk exposure.
  • Direct and coordinate the delivery of regular risk analysis reports to the CEO and Management Committee, including actionable plans for threat avoidance or prevention.

Business Continuity Management

  • Lead the implementation of Business Continuity Management capability across NGHC.
  • Continuously develop and implement business continuity policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Conduct business impact analyses and high-level risk assessments to guide business continuity planning.
  • Coordinate with senior leadership, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment and effective communication of business continuity strategies and plans.
  • Collaborate with the crisis management team during major disruptions, overseeing recovery efforts and ensuring timely and effective response.
  • Oversee the continuous improvement of business continuity plans through regular reviews, testing, and reporting to the executive team on the program's status and effectiveness.

Risk and Audit Integration

  • Provide assurance to the Management Committee and Leadership Team on compliance with Internal Audit findings.
  • Act as an objective source of advice in Internal Audits’ execution mechanism and oversee current and preparation of upcoming internal audits.
  • Prepare and present reports that reflect compliance and potential closure of internal audits’ memorandums.
  • Maintain open communication with the Internal Audit and Finance Committee, and Internal Audit Teams.
  • Ensure timely closure of audit actions by holding process owners accountable.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Work experience in a multi-cultural environment is essential.
  • Prior work experience in the GCC region is preferred.
  • Certification in Risk Management (*, RMP, IRM, or similar).
  • Certification in Business Continuity (*, CBCI, or similar).
