Red Sea Global (RSG) is a leading developer committed to regenerative tourism. Red Sea Sports & Entertainment (RSSE), a subsidiary of RSG, delivers land and marine experiences at The Red Sea destination in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. RSSE manages and operates various sports and recreational activities, including water sports (Galaxea), adventure sports (Akun), and general recreation (WAMA). RSSE plays a central role in the partnership between Red Sea Global and the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee, aiming to create more inclusive and accessible sports and recreation experiences, aligning with Vision 2030 and a commitment to people and planet.

Purpose of the Role

The Senior Specialist Finance supports finance operations by maintaining accurate accounting records, processing financial transactions, preparing reconciliations, and assisting in financial reporting activities. This full-time role ensures compliance with company policies and financial procedures within Red Sea Sports & Entertainment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and monitor daily financial transactions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) entries.
  • Support daily finance operations activities and assist in maintaining accurate accounting records and financial data.
  • Prepare reconciliations and financial reports, coordinating with internal stakeholders on finance-related matters.
  • Assist in month-end closing and reporting activities, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.
  • Maintain proper supporting documents for all financial transactions.
  • Adhere to company finance policies, procedures, and accounting standards, ensuring proper documentation and supporting records.
  • Maintain compliance with IFRS guidelines and internal control requirements.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and audit requirements, coordinating with central finance and tax teams as needed.
  • Comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring finance activities align with organizational controls.
  • Support adherence to risk management and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to finance process improvement initiatives and support automation and efficiency enhancement activities within finance operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and operational effectiveness, participating in implementing best practices across finance activities.

Work Environment and Context

This role operates within a multi-entity finance environment, requiring coordination with internal departments and central finance teams. It involves supporting reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and audit activities, with strict adherence to internal controls and company finance procedures. The workload may increase during month-end and year-end closing cycles.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate accounting records and process financial transactions.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
  • Understanding of IFRS guidelines and internal control requirements.
  • Experience operating within a multi-entity finance environment is beneficial.
