Raffles Hotels & Resorts is establishing a new property, Raffles & Fairmont the Red Sea, within the Kingdom's groundbreaking Red Sea Project in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This resort is designed as a nature-focused destination featuring 361 rooms, eleven distinct dining concepts—including an overwater restaurant—and a dedicated Spa. Situated alongside an 18-hole championship golf course, the resort emphasizes sustainable development across 200km of untouched coastline, an archipelago of over 90 unspoiled islands, dormant volcanoes, rich marine habitats, and ancient archaeological sites.

The Role of Waiter/Waitress

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Waiter/Waitress to join its team in Umluj, Tabuk. This full-time position is central to delivering exceptional food and beverage service, ensuring guest satisfaction through professional and efficient operations within the resort's diverse dining environments. The role requires a commitment to service excellence and adherence to high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional, and efficient food and beverage service to guests at all times.
• Anticipate and address guest needs, preferences, and expectations to exceed satisfaction.
• Present menus clearly and offer detailed explanations of dishes and beverage offerings.
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of all menu items, daily specials, and beverages.
• Serve and clear food and beverage items promptly and discreetly.
• Ensure dining tables are properly set, cleared, and reset in accordance with service standards.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate any concerns to the Manager on Duty.

Operational Standards and Compliance

• Support team members with food running, table service, and station refills to ensure smooth service flow.
• Act as a liaison between Front of House and Back of House operations to ensure seamless service.
• Execute opening and closing checklists to maintain seamless daily operations.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of service stations at all times.
• Adhere to all financial handling procedures as per company guidelines and support daily financial targets.
• Maintain compliance with LQA, Forbes, and internal guest satisfaction benchmarks.
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP and FIFO standards for food safety and hygiene.
• Follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures, including evacuation protocols.
• Report any hazards or maintenance issues through established systems.

Teamwork and Professional Conduct

• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and management.
• Actively participate in all required briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
• Support other departments as needed to contribute to overall hotel operations.
• Uphold high grooming and presentation standards consistently.
• Demonstrate accountability and ownership in all assigned tasks and projects.
• Contribute to the resort's sustainability initiatives and responsible operational practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a similar service-oriented role, preferably within a hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated ability to provide professional and efficient guest service.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.
• Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards in a hospitality environment.
