The Role: Dermatology Consultant

Masters Clinics is seeking a Dermatology Consultant to join its medical team. This full-time, on-site position is primarily based in Makkah, with a requirement to also work at our Taif branch, both located within the Makkah Region of Saudi Arabia. The consultant will be responsible for providing comprehensive dermatological care. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in dermatology.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient consultations for various dermatological conditions.
• Perform thorough skin examinations and minor dermatologic procedures.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic skin conditions.
• Interpret diagnostic tests accurately to inform patient care.
• Document clinical findings and maintain precise medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Provide patient counseling on prevention strategies and comprehensive skincare.
• Actively participate in case discussions to enhance clinical practice.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and the development of clinical guidelines within the dermatology service.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A current professional license and eligibility to practice dermatology in Saudi Arabia, or the ability to obtain the necessary licensing.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of common and complex dermatologic conditions, including proficiency in procedural skills such as biopsies and minor surgeries.
• Strong patient-centered communication skills, with the ability to clearly and respectfully explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, exhibiting collaboration, accountability, and professional integrity.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail in documentation and adherence to clinical protocols.
• A commitment to continuous professional development, evidence-based practice, and active participation in teaching or case discussions as required.
• Prior experience in a hospital or clinic dermatology setting is preferred, particularly within high-volume outpatient services.
