Red Sea Global is seeking an Estimation Engineer for Botanica, its subsidiary specializing in sustainable greenery. Role Overview

The Estimation Engineer, specializing in Landscape Maintenance, will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and technical/commercial proposals for various landscape maintenance projects. This full-time role is based in Tabuk, specifically in Umluj or Tabuk, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The position involves conducting site surveys, assessing resource requirements, and developing detailed cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site visits and surveys to evaluate landscape maintenance requirements and project conditions.
  • Review tender documents, scopes of work, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), drawings, and client specifications.
  • Calculate and estimate required manpower, including gardeners, irrigation technicians, supervisors, operators, and management staff.
  • Assess and estimate the necessary tools, machinery, vehicles, and equipment for each project.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates covering manpower, accommodation, transportation, equipment, materials, consumables, and subcontractor costs.
  • Develop technical and commercial proposals for landscape maintenance contracts and tenders.
  • Create manpower deployment plans and resource schedules based on project scope and service requirements.
  • Coordinate with operations, procurement, and suppliers to obtain accurate quotations and current market rates.
  • Prepare detailed pricing sheets, cost breakdowns, and financial summaries.
  • Maintain and update estimating databases, rate libraries, and proposal templates.
  • Support management during tender clarifications, client meetings, and proposal negotiations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend efficient manpower and equipment utilization.
  • Ensure all proposals are submitted accurately and within required deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in estimation, preferably within landscape maintenance or a related field.
  • Proficiency in developing detailed cost estimates using Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to conduct site surveys and assess project requirements independently.
