About the Role

Accor is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Manager to join the finance team at Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea in Umluj. This full-time position involves overseeing all payroll operations for the luxury hospitality properties, ensuring accurate and timely processing in full compliance with Saudi Arabian labor regulations. The Payroll Manager will lead payroll initiatives, manage a dedicated team, and act as a key liaison between Human Resources, Finance, and operational departments.

Context of Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea

Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea is part of the Red Sea Project, offering visitors two nature-focused resorts. The properties will feature 361 rooms, 11 distinct dining concepts, including an overwater restaurant with views of the Red Sea and mangroves, and a Spa. Raffles The Red Sea is designed as a sanctuary of refined elegance and luxury, blending Raffles' service with the natural beauty and sustainability ethos of Red Sea Global.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees across multiple properties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabia labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversee and supervise the payroll team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate employee payroll records and documentation.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and investigate discrepancies with precision and efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed payroll reports, analysis, and variance reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources and Finance departments to resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Process salary disbursements and manage payroll tax obligations.
  • Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies professionally.
  • Stay current with changes in labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices.
  • Implement and maintain payroll controls and audit procedures.
  • Utilize payroll systems and HRIS platforms to optimize operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of payroll management experience in a multi-property or complex organizational environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabia labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll processing software and systems.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
  • Experience managing and developing payroll teams.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Experience managing payroll for multi-national or multi-cultural workforces.
  • Knowledge of international payroll processing.
