Red Sea Aluminium Industrial (RSA), located in Yanbu, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Chemical Warehouse Supervisor. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient management of the company's chemical and hazardous materials warehouse operations.

Role Overview

The Chemical Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for the daily management of all warehouse operations related to chemicals and hazardous materials. This includes overseeing their safe receiving, storage, handling, issuing, and inventory control. The role requires a highly organized and safety-conscious professional with strong knowledge of chemical storage requirements, warehouse safety procedures, emergency preparedness, and applicable Saudi regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily chemical warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, handling, issuing, and inventory control.
  • Ensure chemicals and hazardous materials are properly classified, labeled, segregated, and stored according to their properties and compatibility requirements.
  • Conduct regular warehouse safety inspections, identifying and addressing potential hazards.
  • Monitor warehouse environmental and storage conditions to maintain chemicals under appropriate and safe conditions.
  • Implement and maintain effective fire prevention, spill and leakage prevention, and emergency response procedures.
  • Regularly inspect firefighting systems, emergency equipment, spill response kits, safety signage, and other warehouse safety equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date chemical inventory records, receiving and issuing documentation, and safety-related records.
  • Ensure the availability and proper management of relevant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all stored chemicals.
  • Support emergency preparedness activities and ensure appropriate response procedures are in place for chemical spills, leaks, fires, and other warehouse emergencies.
  • Ensure warehouse operations comply with applicable Saudi Civil Defense requirements, Saudi Building Code (SBC), and relevant chemical and hazardous material storage regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, HSE teams, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient warehouse operations.
  • Promote and enforce a strong health, safety, and environmental (HSE) culture within the warehouse.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in chemical warehouse operations, hazardous materials storage, or industrial warehouse management.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical handling, hazardous material classification, storage compatibility, and safety requirements.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Civil Defense requirements, Saudi Building Code (SBC), and applicable chemical storage and fire safety regulations.
  • Good understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), chemical labeling, spill control, fire prevention, and emergency response procedures.
  • Strong inventory management, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to conduct safety inspections, identify potential risks, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Good communication and coordination skills; English communication skills are preferred.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be responsible, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious, capable of managing daily warehouse operations independently. Priority will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in chemical or hazardous materials warehouses, industrial facilities, HSE compliance, chemical inventory management, and emergency response procedures.
