At QIMA, we commit ourselves to supporting our clients in delivering safe, quality, and ethically made products. We are seeking a skilled and professional English-Chinese Translator and Interpreter to work alongside our team of Factory Auditors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translation of Written Documents: Translate audit reports, technical documents, and correspondence accurately from English to Chinese and vice versa.
  • Interpretation in Audits: Provide real-time interpretation services during factory visits and meetings between auditors and factory personnel.
  • Language Support: Assist in understanding Chinese documents and cultural nuances relevant to auditing.
  • Communication Liaison: Act as a bridge ensuring smooth communication between English-speaking auditors and Chinese-speaking factory staff.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of translations and interpretation sessions.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Show sensitivity to cultural differences during interactions.

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in translation and interpretation, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Certification in translation and interpretation is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Occupational Health Safety and Environmental.
  • 8+ years of experience in a similar environment (Data Centers / Critical Infrastructure).
  • Good knowledge of KSA HSE Legislative requirements.
  • Construction experience is a must.
  • Good working knowledge of English.
  • Relevant Health & Safety Membership (*, IOSH) is preferred.
