The company designs and manufactures solutions for safer, smarter, and more connected maintenance, serving power generation, data center, and critical infrastructure teams worldwide. IRISS operates across LATAM, EMEA, APAC, and India, focusing on innovation, reliability, and workplace safety with a mission to humanize safety.

Job Summary

IRISS is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Condition Monitoring Engineer MCSA Vibration & Motion Amplification to support operations in Saudi Arabia. This full-time, remote, field-based position focuses on delivering advanced predictive maintenance and asset reliability services. The successful candidate will utilize Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA), Vibration Analysis, and Motion Amplification technologies to perform equipment diagnostics, identify faults, conduct root cause analysis, and provide recommendations for improving the reliability and performance of rotating and electromechanical equipment. The role requires 3-5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform online and offline MCSA inspections on AC/DC motors, generators, and associated driven equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, including broken rotor bars, air-gap eccentricity, stator winding defects, load abnormalities, and coupling or belt issues.
  • Collect and analyze vibration data using portable and online condition monitoring systems, performing FFT analysis, time waveform analysis, enveloping, phase analysis, and orbit analysis.
  • Identify machinery faults such as unbalance, misalignment, mechanical looseness, bearing defects, gearbox faults, and resonance.
  • Conduct Motion Amplification inspections using advanced video-based vibration analysis technologies to identify structural resonance, soft foot, mechanical looseness, foundation defects, and piping vibration.
  • Prepare accurate, comprehensive, and actionable condition monitoring reports, recommending corrective maintenance actions.
  • Support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations and collaborate with customer maintenance, reliability, and operations teams.
  • Assist in developing and improving predictive maintenance programs, reliability strategies, and performance indicators.
  • Communicate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Work Environment and Travel

This is a remote position based in Saudi Arabia, requiring regular field assignments and customer site visits. The role involves conducting inspections and technical evaluations at industrial and operational facilities, working around rotating machinery, electrical equipment, and other industrial systems. Travel throughout Saudi Arabia and potentially other GCC countries will be required as business needs dictate. The candidate must adhere to company health, safety, and environmental policies and applicable site safety regulations, maintaining readiness to perform hands-on technical inspections in industrial environments.
