Role Overview: Generalist Human Resources

The Generalist Human Resources role supports management and leadership teams in handling and resolving human resources issues. This full-time position, located in the Red Sea region, involves assisting employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures. The role also includes monitoring and assisting managers and supervisors with recruitment processes and related concerns, requiring 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and conduct drug tests, reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle department checks, and social security number verifications.
  • Maintain records for applicant flow, drug tests, orientation, and transfer requests.
  • Create and maintain new employee and personnel files, and input data into Human Resources computer systems.
  • Assist with new employee orientation.
  • Monitor all hiring processes to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies and standards.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
  • Support payroll processing and record maintenance in accordance with policies and procedures, as needed.
  • Inform Human Resources managers about employee relations issues within the division or property.
  • Create and maintain filing systems.
  • Generate Human Resources data reports as needed, answer phones, and record messages.
  • Create and type correspondence using a computer.
  • Serve as a Human Resources subject matter expert and participate in project teams.
  • Train new employees on Human Resources processes, programs, policies, information systems, and other relevant areas.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, and protect company information privacy.
  • Communicate with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to achieve common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds ( Kg) or less without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 0-1 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Ability to assist management and leadership teams with HR problem resolution.
  • Proficiency in coordinating and conducting various checks and maintaining records.
  • Strong organizational skills for creating and maintaining employee files and systems.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, and company policies related to hiring.
  • Ability to generate reports and handle correspondence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 10 pounds.
