About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, * is seeking a Generalist Human Resources professional for a full-time position in the Red Sea region. This role involves assisting management with human resources issues and supporting employees with transfer requests and procedures. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assist managers/supervisors with recruitment procedures and related issues.
  • Coordinate and perform drug screening, reference verification, background checks, driver's license possession verification, and social security number checks for candidates.
  • Maintain rotation logs, screening tests, transfer requests, and candidate orientations.
  • Create and maintain new hire and personnel files, and accurately enter them into human resources computer systems.
  • Assist with new employee orientation processes.
  • Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes to ensure compliance with local, regional, and national legislation, as well as company policies and standards.
  • Accurately maintain all personnel records and files, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
  • Assist with payroll processing and maintenance in accordance with established policies and procedures, where applicable.
  • Inform human resources management of employee relations issues within the department or establishment.
  • Create and maintain efficient filing systems.
  • Generate reports on human resources data as needed.
  • Answer phone calls and take messages professionally.
  • Create and enter office correspondence using computer systems.
  • Act as a human resources expert and integrate into project teams.
  • Train new hires on human resources procedures, programs, policies, and computer systems.
  • Adhere to all chain policies and procedures, ensure wearing a clean and complete work uniform, maintain a neat and professional appearance, and respect the confidentiality of hotel-specific information.
  • Use clear and courteous language in all communications, accurately prepare and correct written documents, and answer the phone using appropriate language.
  • Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers, collaborate to achieve common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to other employees' concerns.
  • Move, lift, carry, pull, and place loads weighing up to kilograms independently.
  • Perform all other tasks requested by managers that are consistent with the position.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No specific license or certification is required for this position.
