Rosewood Red Sea is seeking a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and luxury service across our guest floors and public areas.

Role Overview

The Housekeeping Floor Supervisor is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation within assigned guest floors and public spaces. This role involves supervising housekeeping associates, conducting thorough inspections, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring all activities comply with LQA, Forbes, and Brand standards. The Supervisor acts as a key point of contact for guest requests and concerns, ensuring timely and professional resolution.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete knowledge of and ensure compliance with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
  • Monitor and control operations across various sections, including linen room, uniform room, guest floors, public areas, offices, and storerooms.
  • Manage inventory, issuance, and control of linen, amenities, cleaning supplies, and other housekeeping provisions.
  • Prepare daily associate schedules and assignments.
  • Maintain daily floor and pantry checklists.
  • Inspect and clean minibars in accordance with departmental procedures and policies.
  • Report all malfunctions on assigned floors to the Engineering department and follow up on reports as required.
  • Ensure all associate equipment is well-maintained and in proper working order, and that floors are consistently stocked with correct supplies.

Leadership and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure superior standards are maintained daily through regular checks, training, and strict adherence to LQA, Forbes, and Brand guidelines.
  • Supervise, direct, and coordinate associates to uphold the hotel's service standards.
  • Develop, counsel, motivate, and discipline staff in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Maintain associate attendance records, conduct daily briefings, ensure grooming standards, and manage the daily training calendar.
  • Oversee lost and found procedures, including drops, entry, and monitoring.

Guest and Associate Relations

  • Interact courteously and professionally with all guests, staff, and community members.
  • Ensure timely resolution of guest complaints and personally follow up on issues.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resolve difficulties for both guests and associates.
  • Manage day-to-day operational issues, escalating significant highlights to the Assistant Director or Director of Housekeeping as needed.
