Job Description

About the Role

Wood is seeking a Lead Materials & Warehousing professional to support its projects business. This role is integral to the development of a new gold mine and processing facility located at a remote site in Saudi Arabia. The position is full-time and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Lead Materials & Warehousing will be responsible for the following key functions:

  • Managing the entire process of material receipt, inspection, and storage.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory control and associated documentation.
  • Coordinating with construction teams for the efficient issue and return of materials.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and quality standards throughout all warehousing operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in warehouse and materials management.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Prior site-based work experience on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) projects is essential.

Examination leave is also provided upon company approval for educational pursuits.
