About the Role
St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Loss Prevention Supervisor to join our team in the Red Sea region. This full-time role is open to Saudi nationals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on maintaining a secure environment for guests and employees while safeguarding property assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol all areas of the property and ensure the security of rooms, assisting guests with access as needed.
- Conduct emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, and key control audits.
- Perform investigations and interviews related to loss prevention incidents.
- Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV) and alarm systems effectively.
- Authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas within the property.
- Provide assistance to guests and employees during emergency situations.
- Respond to accidents, contacting Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or administering first aid/CPR as required.
Operational Duties
- Gather necessary information and complete detailed reports accurately.
- Maintain the confidentiality of reports and documents, releasing information only to authorized individuals.
- Defuse disturbances in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
- Resolve safety hazard situations promptly and effectively.
- Handle all interruptions and complaints professionally.
- Escort unwelcome persons from the property when necessary.
- Ensure strict compliance with all alcoholic beverage control laws.
- Call for assistance using appropriate code responses and provide necessary paperwork to employees.
Professional Conduct and Team Support
The Loss Prevention Supervisor will assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model and the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. This role requires adherence to all company policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, and completing all required safety training and certifications. Maintaining a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance is essential, as is protecting company assets and maintaining the confidentiality of proprietary information. The supervisor will welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Professional communication, accurate documentation, and appropriate telephone etiquette are expected. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships, supporting the team to reach common goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are key aspects of this role, ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
- Capability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
- Proficiency in entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to move at a speed required to respond to work situations (*, run, walk, jog).
- Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Capacity to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
- Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
- Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Willingness to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
