Marketing Executive

About the Role

Le Meridien is seeking a Marketing Executive to promote brand image and maximize revenue through effective sales techniques. This full-time position involves maintaining guest loyalty, identifying up-selling opportunities, and facilitating sales of preview packages and enhancements for a better Marriott experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote internal and external awareness of the brand image.
• Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty.
• Identify opportunities to up-sell customers and sell enhancements for Marriott experiences or events.
• Encourage guests or callers to purchase or schedule preview package sales/tours.
• Explain details and requirements for attending sales presentations to potential owners.
• Verify eligibility requirements for preview package sales/tours before scheduling tours for Marriott vacation club properties.
• Determine and provide complimentary gifts to guests for their patronage (*, rewards points, show tickets).
• Answer guest questions regarding property facilities and services.
• Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs.
• Communicate professionally and prepare written documents accurately.
• Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond to employee concerns.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: 0-1 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: None required.
• License or Certification: None required.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
