The Role: Mechanical Welding Inspector
SGS is seeking a Mechanical Welding Inspector to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves ensuring compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications through various inspection and monitoring activities. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform "Hold", "Witness", and "Surveillance" inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure adherence to SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications.
- Inspect materials and equipment to verify compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements for proper handling, storage, and protection at facilities and construction sites.
- Monitor Contractor’s Quality Systems, records, and Quality Personnel to ensure compliance with established requirements.
- Review and evaluate the Contractor’s Quality document submittals.
- Witness on-site and off-site material and installation tests to confirm compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO standards.
- Accurately record all controversial and non-complying construction practices, materials, and equipment, reporting potential problems to the supervisor for timely resolution.
- Prepare inspection reports and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Worksheets (WSs), and Equipment Deficiency Reports (EDRs) as required.
- Execute work as planned and scheduled with a professional approach, reporting findings in the specified format.
- Adhere to safety protocols during inspection activities and advise others on safe work practices.
- Maintain confidentiality requirements throughout all activities during the service period.

Experience Required
- Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience relevant to mechanical welding inspection.
