About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a part-time Peer Reviewer for Computer Science Hardware & Architecture roles based in Saudi Arabia. This is a long-term, stable position that supports remote work.

Role Overview

The Peer Reviewer will be responsible for evaluating submitted manuscripts to ensure their quality, originality, and adherence to academic standards within the field of Computer Science Hardware & Architecture. This role requires a deep understanding of research methodologies and the ability to provide constructive feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts, assessing their contribution to the field.
• Critically assess the study design and methodology for appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity to ensure reproducibility.
• Verify that the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research.
• Analyze the presentation of results and conclusions, ensuring they are clear, data-supported, and significant to the field.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback to authors, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and potential ethical concerns.
• Make recommendations regarding manuscript publication (acceptance, revision, or rejection) to the journal editor.

Qualifications and Experience

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in Computer Science Hardware & Architecture or a related field.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated publication record with at least 5 papers in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
