Project Risk Section Head (E2 )

About the Role

HILL INTERNATIONAL is seeking a Project Risk Section Head (E2) to join their team. This full-time position involves leading and managing risk management activities across various projects, ensuring compliance with established standards and facilitating effective risk mitigation strategies. The role requires a professional with extensive experience in project risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop risk management standards, policies, and procedures.
• Establish and manage the program risk management plan.
• Identify, assess, monitor, and report risks within projects.
• Conduct Risk Workshops and Risk Assessments on projects during the execution phase.
• Meet with clients, consultants, and contractors to identify, assess, and evaluate risk issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create Risk reports for Project Managers and review the accuracy of risk scoring and adequacy of risk mitigation plans.
• Facilitate the completion and updating of the Project Risk Register.
• Analyze and monitor the progress of management actions by each risk owner.
• Train and educate project staff to create continuous awareness for risk management.
• Take ownership of the Risk Database.
• Generate monthly reports for risk meetings with client representatives and prepare ad-hoc risk management reports as required.
• Prepare and implement a risk management plan for construction projects, outlining processes for risk identification, evaluation, and mitigation.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

The Project Risk Section Head will inform themselves of relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures within Hill International, ensuring continuous compliance with these requirements. The role also includes performing other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 20 years of experience in project risk management or a related field is required for this position.
