Project Risk Section Head (E )

About the Role

Hill International, Inc. is seeking a Project Risk Section Head to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves leading and managing risk management activities across projects, ensuring compliance with established standards and facilitating effective risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop risk management standards, policies, and procedures.
• Establish and manage the program risk management plan.
• Identify, assess, monitor, and report project risks.
• Conduct risk workshops and assessments during the project execution phase.
• Meet with clients, consultants, and contractors to identify, assess, and evaluate risk issues across the project lifecycle.
• Create risk reports for Project Managers and review the accuracy of risk scoring and adequacy of mitigation plans.
• Facilitate the completion and updating of the Project Risk Register.
• Analyze and monitor the progress of management actions by each risk owner.
• Train and educate project staff to foster continuous awareness for risk management.
• Take ownership of the Risk Database.
• Generate monthly reports for risk meetings with client representatives and prepare ad-hoc risk management reports as required.
• Prepare and implement risk management plans for construction projects, outlining processes for risk identification, evaluation, and mitigation.

Compliance and Reporting

The Project Risk Section Head will ensure compliance with relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures within Hill International. This role also involves generating various risk management reports and performing other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess over 10 years of experience in project risk management or a related field.
