Restaurant Supervisor Saudi National

About the Role

Edition is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor who is a Saudi National to join their team. This full-time position involves overseeing restaurant operations to ensure optimal service delivery and guest satisfaction. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure staff teamwork to provide optimum service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning, and securing premises.
• Inspect storage areas for organization, adherence to FIFO, and cleanliness.
• Conduct scheduled inventories, stock, and requisition necessary supplies.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
• Submit work orders for maintenance repairs as needed.

Leadership and Team Support

• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a role model and the initial point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and address employee concerns appropriately.

Operational Standards and Safety

• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.

Guest Service and Communication

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
