Security Shift Supervisor

About the Role

International Maritime Industries is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to oversee security operations during assigned shifts. This full-time role involves ensuring the safety and protection of all patrons, employees, and company assets. The supervisor will manage security personnel, implement loss prevention programs, and respond to incidents, contributing to a secure operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate staffing for all security gates, posts, and patrols, arranging for additional personnel as needed due to absences or increased requirements.
• Verify the availability and readiness of all security equipment and tools at supervised gates and locations.
• Supervise and plan activities for the assigned security shift team, including vehicle and foot patrols.
• Conduct regular site walk-rounds with security officers to confirm operational adherence and escalate security concerns according to company procedures.
• Evaluate security officers' performance to ensure optimal duty execution, reflecting assessments in annual performance reviews.
• Implement security improvements directed by the Industrial Security Operation Department to safeguard company assets and employees.
• Investigate all accidents or security incidents occurring during the shift and generate comprehensive reports with all necessary documentation.
• Supervise and participate in security and fire-fighting drills as per emergency response roles, and attend and contribute to critique meetings.
• Monitor the hand-over/take-over and load/unload procedures for assigned weapons, adhering to legal government instructions and industrial security operating procedures. Report any loss or damage of weapons.
• Maintain security control protocols for Shipyard facilities and stockholder assets.
• Manage technical security incident reports, ensuring clarity in both English and Arabic.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in security operations and supervision. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required to effectively manage the responsibilities of this position.
