Job Description

About the Role

This contract position is for a Senior Creative QA Specialist, working on behalf of a partner company. The role is based in Saudi Arabia and focuses on establishing quality as a fundamental aspect of the creative process, rather than a final check. As the first dedicated QA specialist, the individual will be responsible for building structure, consistency, and rigor across all creative outputs before they are delivered to clients or advertising platforms.

Role Context and Purpose

The Senior Creative QA Specialist will operate at the intersection of precision and creativity, ensuring that all outbound creative work, from copy decks and ad scripts to static and video assets, meets the highest standards. This role is critical in maintaining brand trust and compliance, especially given that small errors can have significant downstream consequences. The specialist will collaborate across multiple teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with the long-term goal of transforming QA from an individual task into a scalable, agency-wide system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the final quality control for all outbound creative assets, including copy, scripts, captions, static ads, and video content prior to client delivery or publication.
  • Ensure all deliverables fully comply with brand guidelines, platform specifications, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain structured QA systems, such as checklists, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), review templates, and pre-flight validation processes.
  • Create and manage tiered compliance frameworks for clients, with particular attention to high-regulation categories like pet health and supplements.
  • Maintain and update claim libraries, approved phrasing banks, and do-not-use lists for key accounts.
  • Collaborate with creative, strategy, account management, and project management teams to proactively identify and prevent quality issues.
  • Track recurring errors, report on trends, and propose workflow improvements to minimize revisions and enhance output consistency.
  • Support the scaling of QA processes by contributing to the definition of future coaching, onboarding, and quality support structures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, proofreading, compliance, or editorial roles within an agency, a regulated industry, or a high-volume creative environment.
  • A strong understanding of compliance frameworks relevant to regulated industries, including but not limited to FDA, FTC, supplements, pet health, or finance.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to assess brand consistency across multiple clients concurrently.
  • Solid knowledge of advertising platform requirements for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and associated creative formats.
  • Proven ability to build structured processes from the ground up, including SOPs, checklists, and review systems.
  • Capacity to work efficiently under pressure in high-volume settings without compromising accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative and constructive approach to feedback and issue resolution.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple high-priority accounts simultaneously.

Additional Considerations

Experience in copywriting or editorial work, developing tone of voice guidelines, or onboarding junior QA team members is considered a bonus.
