About the Role

Trading and Development Partnership is seeking an experienced and results-driven Site Manager for Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects. This full-time role is based in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia and involves leading on-site construction of high-voltage transmission lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power sector transmission projects and a proven ability to deliver complex infrastructure safely, on time, and within budget.

Role Overview

The Site Manager OHTL will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of on-site construction for high-voltage Overhead Transmission Line projects. This includes managing project execution, site operations, resource allocation, and ensuring strict adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards. The role requires effective liaison with clients, authorities, and internal teams to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction phases, including Right of Way (ROW) access, route alignment, foundation works, tower erection, conductor stringing, and sagging.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and manage cross-functional teams, including project engineers, supervisors, linemen, riggers, and equipment operators.
• Coordinate and optimize the use of heavy machinery such as cranes, tensioners, and puller machines, ensuring timely availability of materials.
• Ensure all works strictly adhere to approved Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and client-specific grid standards.
• Act as the primary site representative, liaising with the client/consultant (*, SEC), local authorities, and head office to report progress and resolve site constraints.
• Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations and permit systems, particularly regarding high-risk activities like working at heights and heavy lifting.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in the power sector.
• Strong background in transmission projects, specifically high-voltage Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL).
• Proven ability to deliver complex infrastructure projects safely, on time, and within budget.

This is a full-time position located in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia. The role involves significant on-site presence and management of construction activities.
