Storekeeper

About the Role

Remal Al Sharq Investment Company is seeking a Storekeeper to join their team in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting warehouse operations, inventory control, and compliance activities, ensuring efficient and accurate management of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods, verifying quantities, quality, and documentation accuracy.
• Issue materials based on approved requests and documentation.
• Organize, label, and store products according to established warehouse standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, stock cards, and system updates.
• Conduct stock counts and support inventory audits.
• Monitor expiry dates and ensure FIFO/FEFO implementation.
• Ensure proper storage and handling conditions for all products.
• Identify and report damaged, expired, or non-conforming items.
• Support SFDA and other regulatory storage requirements.
• Facilitate internal and external inspections and audits.
• Prepare inventory, receiving, and issuing reports.
• Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams for dispatch activities.
• Support warehouse staff and loaders when required.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and fire regulations.
• Safeguard warehouse inventory, assets, tools, and equipment.
• Minimize inventory losses, damages, and discrepancies.

Authorities

• Receive and issue goods in line with approved procedures.
• Update warehouse and inventory systems.
• Report discrepancies, shortages, and damages.
• Coordinate operational activities with warehouse and logistics teams.

Key Performance Indicators

• Inventory accuracy.
• FIFO/FEFO compliance.
• Stock variance control.
• Damage and expiry reduction.
• Timeliness and accuracy of transactions and reporting.
• Compliance with warehouse procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a storekeeping or warehouse operations role.
• Demonstrated reliability and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage inventory control and support compliance activities.
