Universe Manager

About the Role

Fawaz Al Hokair Group (Cenomi Retail) is seeking a Universe Manager to support daily store operations, marketing initiatives, and customer service standards. This full-time role involves maintaining merchandise displays, implementing loss prevention measures, and conducting inventory audits. The Universe Manager also contributes to staff performance and ensures adherence to operational standards, health, and safety practices. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily store management responsibilities.
• Assist with in-store implementation of brand-specific and generic marketing and promotion activities.
• Ensure timely customer service by the sales team in line with established standards.
• Maintain proper display of all merchandise on the sales floor and in the stock room.
• Identify promotional products and apply necessary price adjustments promptly.
• Drive loss prevention procedures to protect company assets and properties from all forms of loss, including internal and external theft.
• Audit and review inventory schedules, including requisitions and deliveries.
• Review daily cash sales and reconciliation.
• Complete the daily sales book and record all sales issues affecting store performance, including business KPIs.
• Review P&L statements with the Store Manager and discuss potential operational, sales, and manpower pain points.
• Contribute towards enhancing sales staff performance, accomplishments, and competence.
• Maintain operational standards, health and safety practices, and commercial aspects of the business as per company policy and procedures.
• Support the achievement of a service-oriented culture within the store.
• Ensure that store and staff hygiene, housekeeping, and maintenance create a pleasant shopping environment and uphold the Brand and Company image at all times.
• Follow up on all store maintenance issues to ensure timely resolution.

Decision-Making Authority

The Universe Manager is in charge of the store during the Store Manager's absence. This includes day-to-day supervision of employees, assigning routine and non-routine tasks, and assisting in schedule preparation.

Problem Solving

This role involves responding to customer complaints and comments, ensuring effective resolution.

Internal and External Relationships

Internally, the Universe Manager communicates sales plans and targets to the store team and reports any policy or procedure breaches to the Store Manager. Externally, the role requires a positive attitude and a desire to promptly address customer needs and resolve potential issues or complaints.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
