WSD Production Officer

About the Role

UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company is seeking a WSD Production Officer to join their team. This full-time position involves assisting in the completion of the production plan by managing personnel, monitoring progress, and resolving operational issues to ensure efficient processing flow. The role requires 5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute production plans in alignment with schedules to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing operations.
• Oversee the operation of production equipment and machinery, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products, coordinating with procurement and logistics to maintain adequate stock.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize production costs.
• Provide training and guidance to production staff, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge for their roles.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company policies and procedures across all production activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues or equipment malfunctions, implementing solutions to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including reports, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory records.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate production processes, seeking improvement opportunities and implementing best practices.
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in line with company and IMS policies.

Required Experience and Skills

• 5 years of experience in a production-related role.
• Ability to schedule and assign personnel effectively.
• Proficiency in monitoring progress and revising schedules.
• Strong problem-solving skills for production issues.
• Capability to report results of processing flow accurately.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company, where the Production Officer will work collaboratively to achieve production goals and maintain operational efficiency.
