About the Tamheer Training Opportunity

Lantern Systems Co. Ltd is offering a Tamheer training opportunity for a Purchase Specialist. This 6-month internship is open exclusively to Saudi candidates in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. The program is designed to provide practical experience in procurement activities within a professional environment.

Role Overview

The trainee will gain hands-on experience by supporting various procurement functions. This includes assisting with material requirement assessments, conducting market research for competitive pricing, and evaluating supplier and service provider quotations. The role also involves practical exposure to maintaining supplier databases, preparing procurement documents, and organizing purchasing records according to established policies.

Key Training Responsibilities

Assess material needs and requirements of different organizational units and support the prioritization of purchasing needs.
Conduct market research and basic analysis to identify competitive purchasing prices while ensuring required material quality, in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
Support the receiving, reviewing, and evaluation of quotations from suppliers and service providers, coordinating with relevant departments.
Maintain and update databases of frequently purchased materials, prices, and key suppliers.
Maintain complete records and documentation related to purchasing activities in accordance with the approved system.
Prepare specialized sales-related documents and reports, provide appropriate recommendations and solutions, present and explain them, and maintain them in the designated database.
Support coordination with internal departments and suppliers throughout the purchasing process.

Qualifications and Experience

This is an internship opportunity, suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.
Open to Saudi candidates only.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time internship based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. The training duration is 6 months, providing a structured learning experience within the company.
