With your knowledge and experience in procurement, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing purchasing activities to support our infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study Technical Specifications: Understand project documents (drawings, specifications, and quantities).
- Prepare Purchase Requests: Coordinate with technical departments and sites to compile purchase requests and ensure accuracy.
- Supplier Search and Selection: Research reliable local and international suppliers, compare offers in terms of price, quality, delivery time, and technical accreditations.
- Negotiation and Issuance: Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery durations while issuing purchase orders.
- Coordination: Ensure timely delivery of materials according to project schedules.
- Supply Monitoring: Track shipment status and customs clearance for imported materials.
- Quality Compliance: Work with the quality department to inspect and approve materials before delivery.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on purchasing and supply status.
- Budget Compliance: Ensure that all purchases fall within the allocated budget and suggest cost-saving measures.
- Support Contracts and Tenders: Contribute to preparing technical and financial offers for new tenders.
Required Skills:
- Strong technical understanding of infrastructure materials.
- Experience in infrastructure procurement.
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Familiarity with project management and ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics.
- Knowledge of import laws and customs clearance procedures.
