About the Accountant Role

شركة الشريف للمقاولات والتنمية التجارية is seeking an Accountant to manage and oversee the financial and accounting operations for substation projects. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires 0-1 years of experience. The role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy of financial recording in accordance with approved company policies and procedures.

Core Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for a range of financial tasks to support project operations. Key duties include:

  • Recording and reviewing all financial transactions related to substation projects.
  • Managing site petty cash, monitoring its daily expenses, and ensuring settlements.
  • Preparing disbursement requests and verifying the completeness of supporting documentation.
  • Following up on supplier and contractor invoices to ensure compliance with financial procedures.
  • Preparing periodic financial reports for project management.
  • Monitoring project costs and expenses, comparing them against approved budgets.
  • Maintaining and organizing financial records and documents according to approved policies.
  • Supporting internal and external audit processes as required.
  • Adhering strictly to the company's approved financial policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities

This role involves direct management and follow-up of financial operations, ensuring integrity and efficiency. Specific accountabilities include:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of all financial recordings and transactions.
  • Overseeing disbursement operations and managing operational expenses.
  • Reviewing invoices and financial documents for correctness and approving them.
  • Ensuring timely payments to suppliers and contractors.
  • Maintaining continuous coordination with the finance department and site operational departments to ensure efficient financial operations and adherence to approved project budgets.

Qualifications and Experience
