Role Overview

National Medical Care is seeking a dedicated Collection Officer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to our financial operations, focusing on the efficient collection of claims and the management of related documentation. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall financial health of the organization while upholding our commitment to superior patient care and compassion.

Key Responsibilities and Contributions

The Collection Officer is responsible for a range of duties centered on claims management and payment processing. This includes actively following up on outstanding claims, ensuring the timely delivery of necessary documents, and resolving any issues that may impede payment settlements. The role requires proactive engagement with contracted companies and debtors to facilitate prompt financial closure.

Core Duties

• Deliver claims documents to relevant contracted companies on a monthly schedule.
• Conduct regular follow-ups on all pending balance amounts with concerned companies.
• Expedite payment receipts by actively resolving payment-related issues and conducting necessary visits to debtors to encourage settlement of outstanding balances.
• Collect cheques from designated companies and ensure their handover to the Director of Finance for processing.
• Report any problems encountered with contracted companies regarding non-settlement of claims to the Supervisor.
• Execute special tasks and duties as instructed by the Section Head or Director of Finance.
• Perform additional assigned tasks and duties as directed by Superiors.

Applicants for this position should possess 0-1 years of relevant professional experience.

Reporting Structure and Work Type

The Collection Officer will report directly to the Credit Control & Collection Supervisor and does not have any supervisory responsibilities. This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
