About the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional to ensure the organization's adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations, fostering a secure and environmentally conscious workplace through the development and implementation of robust policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies and programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks.
• Train employees on proper safety procedures and protocols.
• Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain comprehensive records of incidents, injuries, and overall safety performance.
• Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and implement necessary improvements.
• Stay informed about new regulations and industry best practices.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Proven experience in EHS compliance and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of local EHS laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Certification in EHS (*, OSHA) is considered a plus.

Required Skillset

• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and management principles.
• Effective communication skills for training and educating staff.
• Proficiency in conducting audits and inspections.
