About the Role

********* is seeking a highly accomplished and commercially proven Head of Investment Placement, operating at a CO-CEO level. This senior role is responsible for leading and growing an investment business across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the broader GCC region. The position is based in Riyadh and is a full-time opportunity.

Role Overview and Strategic Direction

This is a strategic leadership position, not an execution-focused role. The Head of Investment Placement will be instrumental in setting the overall strategic direction for the investment business. A key aspect of the role involves building and leading a high-performing Investment Placement Team, with a specific focus on operations in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The individual will serve as a principal representative of the business, engaging at the highest institutional and board levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the growth of the investment business across KSA and the wider GCC.
• Define and implement the strategic direction for investment placement activities.
• Identify and secure strategic partnerships.
• Build, manage, and motivate a high-performing Investment Placement Team in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
• Manage C-level investor relationships.
• Act as a principal representative of the business at senior institutional and board levels.
• Manage and mitigate risks associated with large-scale investment portfolios.
• Ensure all activities comply with SAMA and CMA regulations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in investment management, with substantial leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading complex negotiations for strategic collaborations and partnerships.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, suitable for engaging with C-level stakeholders.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related business field.
• A verifiable track record of developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies within the KSA and broader GCC markets.
• Deep understanding and direct experience with alternative investment products, including real estate, private equity, and Venture Capital.
• A strong existing network of relationships with institutional investors, High Net Worth (HNW) individuals, family offices, and sovereign wealth funds in the GCC.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements set by SAMA and CMA.
