About the Master Scheduler Role

Fintech HIRE Middle East & Africa is seeking a Master Scheduler for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical to the ambitious airport transformation program in Saudi Arabia, centered around King Salman International Airport, a key initiative of Vision 2030. The successful candidate will manage the technology, operational, and business transformation program for this megaproject.

Role Context and Responsibilities

Reporting to the PMO Senior Lead, the Master Scheduler will be responsible for the integrated master schedule (IMS) across a comprehensive scope of 49 systems and 18 domains. This role involves interfacing the IMS with the parallel construction schedule managed by the broader airport delivery consortium. Key duties include baselining, monitoring, and forecasting program progress through multiple phases of delivery over several years.

  • Owning the integrated master schedule (IMS) for the full MSI scope.
  • Interfacing the IMS with the parallel construction schedule.
  • Baselining, monitoring, and forecasting program progress from mobilization through Phase 1 and Phase 2.
  • Conducting weekly and monthly schedule cadence meetings with vendor and client stakeholders.
  • Challenging vendor commitments and unrealistic milestones, and providing honest forecast confidence to executive sponsors.
  • Managing schedule risk, critical path analysis, and mitigation planning.

Key Performance Indicators for Year One

Success in the first year will be measured by the establishment of a baselined integrated master schedule aligned with construction phasing. This includes embedding a weekly status cadence across all workstreams and achieving a level of forecast confidence that enables executives to make informed investment decisions based on the provided data.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in planning and scheduling complex, multi-vendor delivery programs. Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 is a non-negotiable requirement. Proven experience in owning an IMS on multi-consortium deliveries is essential. The ability to challenge vendors and defend forecast integrity to senior sponsors is critical.

  • 12+ years of planning and scheduling experience on complex multi-vendor delivery programs.
  • Expert-level Primavera P6 proficiency.
  • Demonstrated experience owning IMS on multi-consortium deliveries.
  • Ability to challenge vendors and defend forecast integrity to senior sponsors.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of translating schedule complexity into executive-ready narratives.
  • Airport, aviation, or major infrastructure mega-programme experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Middle East mega-project experience (*, NEOM, Red Sea, Diriyah, Qiddiya, Riyadh Metro) is a strong advantage.
  • PMI-SP or comparable planning certification is desirable.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role operates within a large-scale, complex infrastructure project environment, requiring collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including vendors and client representatives.
