About the Role

Careers International is seeking a Paper Machine Operator for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the paper machine to ensure the production of high-quality paper products that meet all customer and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in paper machine operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust paper machine operating parameters, including speed, temperature, and chemical dosing, to maintain product quality and process efficiency.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on the paper machine and associated equipment, identifying and reporting any issues or malfunctions.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure the timely and orderly supply of necessary raw materials, chemicals, and consumables.
• Collect and analyze data from the paper machine's control systems and instrumentation, making adjustments to optimize performance.
• Implement quality control measures, such as sampling and testing, to ensure the final paper product meets specified requirements.
• Document all relevant operational data, production logs, and quality records in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving production-related issues, collaborating with maintenance and engineering personnel as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations pertaining to paper machine operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
• Provide training and mentorship to less experienced paper machine operators, as required.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in paper machine operations.
• Thorough understanding of paper machine operations, process control systems, and quality control procedures.
• Proficiency in interpreting and adjusting process parameters based on real-time data and production requirements.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental regulations in the paper manufacturing industry.
• Technical or vocational training in paper processing or a related field is preferred.

Work Environment and Type

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh. The role involves hands-on operation of paper manufacturing machinery.
