About the Role

Norconsult Telematics is seeking a Senior Process Consultant to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on leading the development, governance, documentation, and continuous improvement of business processes to ensure they are clear, efficient, controlled, and aligned with operational requirements.

Core Responsibilities

The primary objective of this role is to drive process excellence. This involves developing, reviewing, and enhancing business processes, procedures, workflows, and operating models. You will be responsible for mapping current and future-state processes using methodologies such as BPMN, SIPOC, and RACI. A key aspect of the role includes identifying process gaps, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, and translating departmental mandates into clear processes, roles, and governance structures. Facilitating workshops with stakeholders to validate processes and define improvement actions is also a critical duty. The role requires developing and maintaining comprehensive process documentation, governance records, and process libraries, while also supporting process automation and digitization initiatives by preparing business requirements and user journeys. Ensuring processes incorporate proper controls, escalation paths, and compliance checkpoints is essential, along with coordinating with various departments to ensure process alignment and compliance.

Performance Management Support

In addition to core process management, this role will support the development and review of departmental and section-level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are directly linked to key processes. This includes ensuring KPIs are SMART, measurable, and supported by clear formulas, targets, and data sources. You will monitor process-related KPI performance, identify gaps and root causes, and prepare performance insights and reports to support management decision-making. Utilizing KPI results to recommend process enhancements for continuous improvement is also a key function.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Operations Management, Project Management, or Engineering Management. A Master's degree or MBA in a related field is preferred. The role requires 10–15 years of overall relevant experience in business process management, process improvement, business analysis, operational excellence, governance, performance management, or PMO. A minimum of 7–10 years of direct, hands-on experience in business process design, mapping, documentation, governance, and improvement is mandatory. Strong experience in developing process maps, SOPs, policies, procedures, RACI matrices, workflows, controls, and governance frameworks is essential. Proven experience facilitating senior-level workshops and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders is required. Experience linking processes to KPIs, controls, risks, and performance reports is necessary. While experience in KPI development and performance monitoring is preferred, primary expertise must be in business process management. Fluency in Arabic is also expected.
