About The Luxury Collection and the Role

The Luxury Collection is seeking a dedicated Supervisor Restaurant to join its team in Ad Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to maintaining the high standards of service and guest satisfaction expected within a luxury hospitality environment. The role focuses on overseeing daily restaurant operations and supporting management functions to ensure seamless service delivery.

Role Overview

The Supervisor Restaurant is responsible for fostering a collaborative team environment to provide optimum service and meet guest needs effectively. This position involves direct oversight of daily operational tasks, ensuring adherence to established service standards, and actively contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of the restaurant's offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure staff collaboration to deliver optimal service and address guest requirements.
  • Inspect staff grooming and attire, promptly rectifying any deficiencies.
  • Execute opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing premises.
  • Monitor storage areas for proper organization, adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles, and cleanliness.
  • Conduct scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies to maintain stock levels.
  • Oversee dining rooms to ensure seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
  • Complete and submit work orders for maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Support management in various human resources functions, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
  • Act as a role model and the primary point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
  • Adhere to all company and safety/security policies and procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete required safety training.
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, safeguard proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests using clear and professional language.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team objectives, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, develop, and implement improvements for organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.

Physical Demands of the Role

  • Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
  • Capacity to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
  • Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Agility to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
  • Ability to navigate up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
  • Capacity to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • License or Certification: None specified.
