About the Training Manager Role

First Access Consulting is seeking a Training Manager to lead the development and execution of the company's annual training and development strategy. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in learning and development.

Learning and Development Strategy Development

The Training Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing the company's annual training and development strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. This includes identifying organizational competency gaps and designing initiatives to meet current and future workforce needs. The role also involves establishing learning frameworks to support leadership development, technical excellence, and succession planning.

Training Needs Analysis and Program Management

This position requires conducting comprehensive training needs assessments across all company locations and functions. The Training Manager will collaborate with department heads and business leaders to pinpoint skill gaps and development priorities, and establish competency matrices for key roles. Responsibilities extend to designing, coordinating, and managing both internal and external training programs, encompassing technical, safety, compliance, leadership, project management, and professional development. Effective onboarding and orientation programs for new employees are also a key focus.

Leadership and Talent Development Initiatives

A significant aspect of this role involves developing leadership development programs tailored for supervisors, managers, and emerging leaders. The Training Manager will actively support succession planning through targeted development plans and implement programs for coaching, mentoring, and high-potential employee development.

Vendor, Stakeholder, and Systems Management

The Training Manager will manage relationships with external training providers, universities, and professional institutions, evaluating vendors and negotiating agreements to ensure quality and value. Coordination with project teams and business units will be essential to align training delivery with operational requirements. This role also includes managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and employee training records, monitoring training effectiveness through various metrics, and preparing reports on training activities, budgets, and ROI.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Education, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's Degree is preferred. Professional certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, ATD, or CPTD are advantageous. The role requires 10–15 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Talent Development, or Organizational Development, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity. Experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure, contracting, industrial, or project-based organizations is highly preferred, as is experience managing large-scale workforce training programs across multiple locations.
