Join PaxOcean as a Financial Comptroller! In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing end-to-end finance operations ensuring strong financial controls and compliance aligned with the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily finance operations and ensure alignment with company objectives, policies, and budgets.
  • Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet operational needs while managing financial risks.
  • Perform credit risk analysis and ensure compliance with financial policies across operations.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting including variance analysis.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT and manage annual tax compliance activities in accordance with ZATCA laws.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and banks.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 3 years in an operational finance role.
  • Experience in leading a team of at least 5 staff.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and risk management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to collaborate effectively and manage multiple priorities.
Education: Bachelors in Accounting or Business Administration is required.

  • 8+ years of VAT experience, particularly in the MENAT region.
  • Experience with Big 4 firms or regional tax authorities is a strong recommendation.
  • Fluency in Arabic (mandatory) and strong English communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
