Key Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for the pastry and bakery kitchen section.
- Create high-quality and creative pastry products to satisfy customers.
- Follow instructions from superiors to complete daily tasks.
- Ensure consistency and quality in daily preparation and stay updated with new pastry recipes and techniques.
- Instruct and lead subordinates in food preparation and participate in buffet setups and special functions.
- Coordinate with other sections regarding cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.
- Consult on daily pastry requirements and last-minute events.
- Maintain high hygiene standards within the pastry kitchen.
Requirements:
- Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course.
- Previous experience in the pastry section with strong culinary skills.
- Ability to communicate well in English.
- Proven knowledge in pastry preparation, presentation, and preservation.
