Financial Operations Analyst

About the Role

Eram Talent, a global talent acquisition solutions provider, is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst for a prestigious client. This contract position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, covering cities such as Thuwal, Jeddah, and Makkah. The role focuses on the financial operations of active contracts and projects, specifically involving invoice verification and accounting.

Role Overview

The Financial Operations Analyst is responsible for the verification and accounting of invoices related to active contracts and projects. This includes tracking, reporting, analyzing, and recording all contractual and associated financial expenditures, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify invoices for accuracy against Purchase Orders and contract terms, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
• Ensure complete documentation for all invoices and financial actions, obtain necessary approvals, create SAP entries, and correctly charge costs to assigned WBS/Cost Centers and GL codes.
• Support the Finance department in finalizing payments.
• Build relationships with proponents, vendors, and internal departments; handle customer requests, resolve discrepancies, and assist with past due or denied invoices.
• Provide accurate reports and detailed financial analysis on invoices, vendor data, trends, and performance across contracts and projects.
• Continuously review business processes and systems to recommend practical improvements in line with industry best practices.
• Perform other applicable tasks and duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience in a similar financial operations, accounting, or project finance role. The role requires 2-5 years of overall experience.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite and the SAP Finance Module.
• Accounting Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of best practices in accounting, financial management, and business processes, in compliance with relevant legislation and accounting standards.
• Communication: Excellent command of both oral and written English.
• Professional Conduct: Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and work professionally across all organizational levels.
• Performance Under Pressure: Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure, and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
