About the Role
Four Points by Sheraton in Riyadh is seeking a Sales Manager I to proactively solicit and manage sales opportunities. This full-time position focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives and requires 2-5 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively solicit and handle sales opportunities, ensuring proper and timely turnover for service delivery.
- Collaborate with off-property sales channels to coordinate and complement sales efforts.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows.
- Develop community relationships to expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
- Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in sales calls to acquire new business and close deals.
- Execute and support the operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals and writing contracts.
- Identify new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses, and economic conditions to maximize revenue.
- Understand the location’s primary target customer and their service expectations to offer effective business solutions.
- Support the company’s service and relationship strategy to drive customer loyalty through excellent service.
- Service customers to grow account share and execute company customer service standards.
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
- Set a positive example for guest relations.
Sales Strategy and Market Understanding
This role requires a thorough understanding of the overall market, including competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand dynamics, to effectively position offerings. The Sales Manager will identify and close the best opportunities based on current market conditions and location needs. A key aspect of this role involves gaining a deep understanding of the location’s primary target customer and their service expectations, enabling the delivery of tailored business solutions.
Customer Relationship Management
A core function of this position is to build and maintain strong, value-based customer relationships. This involves proactively engaging with both new and existing clients to foster loyalty and secure future bookings. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service consistent with the company’s daily service basics, aiming to grow account share and ensure a positive customer experience throughout all interactions.
Experience and Qualifications
Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant sales experience. The ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction is essential. Experience in the hospitality or hotel industry is highly beneficial.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves active participation in daily sales activities and requires a professional demeanor and a commitment to achieving sales targets within a dynamic sales environment.
