About the Role

SAMI Airbus is seeking an experienced MRO Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for overseeing maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations to ensure optimal fleet availability and operational efficiency.

Role Overview

The MRO Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of tasks performed by Production (Line maintenance), Ground Support Equipment (GSE), and Workshops. The primary objective of this role is to ensure optimal fleet availability and to meet all company and contractual objectives. Additionally, the MRO Manager will implement and execute SAMI Airbus standards and procedures directly on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high fleet availability to meet and exceed company and customer requirements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Manage rosters for over 40 personnel, ensuring the timely availability of manpower, resources, and program deliverables.
• Verify that all technicians assigned to maintenance tasks possess the proper capabilities and resources required.
• Oversee the management and calibration of GSE/Tools and line maintenance workshops to support daily operations and meet contractual deliverables.
• Detect and report risks and opportunities that may contractually impact the fleet or program to the Technical Director.
• Ensure compliance with organizational procedures/Quality Management System (QMS) and international aviation standards during all maintenance activities.
• Utilize and manage SQCDP/LeanSixSigma panels/events to control and improve Line/Base/Workshop issues and initiatives.
• Prevent and ensure the timely closure of Corrective Action Requests (CARs).

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least five (5) years of experience working specifically as an MRO Manager.
