About the Role

Hudson IT and Manpower is seeking a Civil/Structural Design Engineer – Team Leader for a contract position in Riyadh. This role is with a prominent EPC organization specializing in Power Transmission & Distribution projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design transmission line towers utilizing the PLS Tower software.
• Conduct structural analysis and design for pile, pad & chimney, and rock anchor foundations.
• Perform engineering calculations using software such as Excel, MathCAD, and STAAD Pro.
• Review and validate design drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Ensure all designs adhere to international standards, including ACI 318 and ASCE 10.
• Collaborate with project, execution, and site teams to address design-related inquiries.
• Lead and mentor junior design engineers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Optimize designs for safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor of Engineering (** or Bachelor of Technology (**** in Civil Engineering is mandatory. A Master of Engineering (** or Master of Technology (**** in Structural Engineering is preferred. Education must be from regular full-time programs.
• Experience: A minimum of 4+ years of experience in Transmission Line (OHL) Design Engineering is required. Hands-on experience in Transmission Tower Design and Foundation Design is mandatory.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in PLS Tower is mandatory.
• Knowledge of PLS-CADD is considered an advantage.
• Experience with STAAD Pro, MathCAD, SP Column, and MS Excel.
• A strong understanding of Transmission Tower & Foundation Design principles.
• Familiarity with international design standards such as ACI 318 and ASCE 10.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and team leadership capabilities.
